$11m Fraud: Invictus Obi remanded in US prison, trial adjourned till 2020

Obinwanne Okeke, popularly known Invictus Obi, has pleaded not guilty to two counts of wire and computer fraud at his trial on Monday.

The presiding judge at Virginia, federal courthouse, who declared the case as “complex,” revealed that Mr Okeke will remain inside the police custody until February 18, 2020, when the trial would be decided.

Okay.ng gathered that Invictus Obi appeared in court at 2:00 p.m. according to the court schedule of Judge Douglas Miller for Monday, 9th -Monday, 23rd September 2019.

Okeke was arrested on August 6 in Alexandria, Virginia, just moments before he was scheduled to return to Nigeria.
