2017 AFCON: Siasia Names Super Eagles Starting XI vs Egypt

Chelsea loanee Victor Moses will start for Nigeria against Egypt in tonight’s crunch AFCON qualifier in Alexandria as coach Samson Siasia has made three changes to the team who kicked off against the same team in Kaduna.

Victor Moses has been preferred to namesake Moses Simon, while Umar Aminu will start ahead of Manchester City starlet Kelechi Iheanacho.

South Africa-based Daniel Akpeyi will be in goal after Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Carl Ikeme was ruled out due to illness.

Otherwise, Siasia has kept faith with under-fire Stanley Amuzie at left back and Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi will not start despite serving out his suspension.
