A 49-year old tailor is on the run for allegedly killing his eighteen year old step daughter whom he impregnated.
According to reports, the tailor who lives with the step daughter in Takoradi Kwakumah in the Western Region of Ghana after impregnating her offered her a mineral drink (fanta) which was mixed with a drug with the aim of aborting the three month old pregnancy.
However, after taken in the fanta, the lady started feeling pains in the abdomen.
According to the Auntie who only gave her name as Maame Ama, she heard screams from the lady’s room after the lady had taken in the substance.
“However, I met her lying dead in her room after arriving there with a suicide note indicating that the step dad was responsible for her death…,” she said.
The family of the eighteen year old, she said has since reported the case to the police.
