50-Year-Old Woman Dies While On Queue To Vote In Funtua, Katsina State

A 50-year-old woman, Yar’Baba Yusuf Babangida,was confirmed dead after she reportedly slumped while on a queue for vote in Katsina.

The deceased was said to be on queue at Kofar gidan Hamisu polling unit of Makera ward in Funtua local government area of Katsina State when she suddenly slumped.It was gathered that she was rushed to Funtua General Hospital where health personnel certified her dead,Forumspotz Media reports.
“We were told that she had already died even before we rushed her to the hospital,” a resident who took part in the rescue operation said.
The deceased, a widow, was said to be hypertensive.
