
The late Muhammad Ali, made many trips around the world while he was alive, particularly to Africa in a bid to get reconnected to his roots as his paternal grandmother was a native of Madagascar – making him an African-American descent.
On one of his trips to Africa, Muhammad Ali visited Lagos, Nigeria on a 3-day tour of the city from June 1- June 3, 1964.
