A High Court sitting in Jos, the Plateau State capital, on Monday denied it ever granted embattled owner of Giwa FC, Barrister Chris Giwa, any order to take over the affairs of the Nigeria Football Federation.

This followed the decision of the NFF leadership under its President, Amaju Pinnick, to approach the court for clarification on the controversial order.

The NFF requested the court to clarify its position based on the claim by Giwa that he had obtained the order of the Court, which he flaunted at the Glass House secretariat of the football body in Abuja on Friday.

But the court said it never granted any such order on Monday.
