Ghana’s self-appointed ‘dancehall king’, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has hinted at the possibility of hanging up his mic by the year 2020.

Shatta recently held a tell it all interview with Delay, in which he made his feelings on the subject known.

He said; “I’ve told my manager I want to retire by 2020 and I’m working towards that.” The controversial artiste told the show host, Deloris Frimpong Manso.

He continued; “I save a lot and don’t spend too much, so when I want to buy anything any day, I can go ahead and do it”, Words are wind, I’ve heard more than once. I’ll believe this when I see it.
