INEC Office in Rivers State Reportedly Set Ablaze

The office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Bori, headquarters of Khana Local Government Area has been set ablaze.

PM NEWS reports that the fire started in the early hours of Friday. A witness said “the office has been substantially damaged by the fire.”

Omoni Nnamdi, spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the incident.

The Rivers rerun election is slated for July 30.
