Leader of the Indegenous People of Biafra, IPOB and Director of Radio Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has reportedly sponsored the 2016 Kuje Prisons Football Championship, in Abuja, where he is being detained along two others for alleged treasonable charges.

It was learnt that Kanu declared  the competition open, yesterday, saying his main purpose for sponsoring this year’s edition was to enable inmates have freedom and relate with one another.
