PDP-CONVENTION

The Nigeria Police Force has sealed off the the Sharks Stadium, venue of the PDP National Convention in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The venue was sealed as early as at 4am on Wednesday.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Donald Awunah confirmed this when he appeared as a guest on Channels Television‘s Sunrise Daily on Wednesday.

Awunah said that the venue was sealed off because of the tension surrounding the convention and the conflicting court rulings.

He said the police is for everyone, and the decision to seal off the venue was done to protect lives and properties, given the fact that there are conflicting court orders.
