Femi-Falana-Fayose-1

Human rights lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana has accused Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose of using funds meant for the development of the state.

Falana, who spoke yesterday at the maiden edition of Ekitipanupo colloquium in Lagos, said there was evidence that “The little funds of the state are being dissipated. It is very wicked for anybody to divert pension fund, when people are dying or not paying salary for 7 months, when someone is using our funds to acquire properties in Lagos and Abuja.”

He further implored the elite from Ekiti state to identify with the people at the grassroots with a view to enlightening them on the import of governance and the need to appreciably participate in same in order to change the fortune of the state.
