Senate of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) has approved the resumption of the first semester examinations for the 2015/2016 session.

The approval follows the earlier postponement of the examinations as a result of the fire incident that destroyed the library complex of the Naraguta Campus.

Rising from an emergency meeting on Monday, the Senate also directed that all examinations should resume on Tuesday October 11, 2016 in a statement signed by the school’s Registrar, Monday Danjem.

According to the schedule of the current examination timetable, all examinations that were due to take place on Monday, October 10 had been rescheduled.

All the students whose faculties were affected by the fire incident were also advised to liaise with their respective Heads of Department who would direct them appropriately on the halls where they are expected to write their examinations.

Similarly, the schedule revealed that affected students whose answer scripts were burnt during the inferno would have the examinations rescheduled to a later date that would be communicated to them by their respective Heads of Department, reports Channels Television.
