Funtua Youth United for Development Association (FUNYUD) held a public lecture today, themed impact of gender equality. The lecture was delivered by Imam Nasir Abdulrahman, Malam Jibril Abdulrahman and commented by Sheikh Aminu Liman from Izala sect, Sheikh Abdulrahman Jibril from Tariqa sect, Ibrahim Dogara Youth President from Catholic Church, Malama Halimatu Lailu Women in Da’awa coordinator, Malama Bilkisu Chindo Muslim Women Organization coordinator.
The mishmash of different categories of religious institution with different faith symbolized the sign of peace and unity in the local government area of Funtua and at the same time demonstrated to the world at large that they all opposed the motion of gender equality.
