The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication – `Shipping Position’, – a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lagos.

NPA said that the expected ships contained buck wheat, bulk sugar, general cargoes, empty containers, base oil, aviation fuel, ethanol, base oil, diesel, containers and petrol.

The document noted that four ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, bulk sugar and petrol.

NAN reports that 15 other ships are at the ports discharging general cargoes, bulk wheat, containers, empty containers, bulk gypsum, clinker and petrol.
