The network disclosed this at a press conference in Lagos on Tuesday.

The company said it was motivated to enhance the benefits of other three products because they became hugely successful.

With Glo Borrow Me Data, subscribers can borrow Data credit of up to 2GB whenever their data bundles are exhausted or in cases of unsuccessful subscription bundle activation due to low balance.

Globacom’s Head, Usage and Retention, Sola Arowogbadamu, explained that customers will be eligible to enjoy the service on the strength of how long they have been on the network as well as customers’ average monthly data usage.

Arowogbadamu said customers can subscribe to Borrow Me Data by dialing *321# after which they should follow the menu prompts.
