Saraki’s CCT Trial Adjourned Till 2017

The Code of Conduct Tribunal on Tuesday adjourned the trial of Senate President Bukola Saraki till 2017.

Danladi Umar, chairman of the tribunal, fixed January 11 for continuation of the asset declaration trial.

The adjournment came as the defence team concluded cross-examination of prosecution witness, Michael Wetkas.

Mr. Wetkas, an official of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, made his 14th appearance at the tribunal on Tuesday.

Saraki was accused of false asset declaration.
