The election of Ben Ayade as Cross River governor has been upheld by the supreme court.

Joe Agi, another member of the PDP, had approached the court asking Ben Ayade to be sacked for false declaration of age.

The apex court justices threw out the suit on Friday, holding that Agi could not prove the allegation against Ayade.
