WAEC Releases 2016 GCE Result, 38.5% Candidates Pass Exams

The West African Examination Council has announced the release of the 2016 West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates with 38.5 percent obtaining five credits including English Language and Mathematics.

The Head of WAEC‎ National Office, Olu Adenipekun announced the released of the result in Lagos on Friday.

According to Adenipekun, the results of the candidates was a great improvement when compared with similar results released for 2014 and 2015 examinations whereby 29.37 percent and 20.59 percent obtained five credits including English Language and Mathematics respectively.
