A raging fire has engulfed the Nigerian Breweries office at Orile Iganmu area of Lagos State.

It is not clear what caused the fire and the extent of damage, but according to a video circulated on Twitter by @gidi_traffic, it appears the incident is grave.

The fire, which reportedly started in the early hours of Sunday, December 25, is still destroying the facility as at the time of filing this report.

Presently, the inferno has affected parts of the warehouse of the company as fire fighters of the Federal Fire Service and the Nigeria Police Force battle to quench the inferno.

According to an eye witness account, “the fire has affected structures in the building and we fear it might affected nearby houses if not urgently quenched.”
