President Muhammadu Buhari has said the Senate was not fair to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation(SGF), Mr. Babachir David Lawal in its resolution seeking his sack.

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki today read the letter of President Buhari on the SGF.
The Senate had in December requested the sack of Babachir over an alleged fraud in the Presidential Initiative on North East (PINE).
Buhari said Babachir was not invited by the Committee chaired by Senator Shehu Sani (APC, Kaduna) and that only three persons out of the 9 members of the committee signed it.
But in his swift reaction, Sani said 7 persons signed the report and not 3 persons.
He said the SGF was duly invited.
