MTN Updates On Decommissioning BlackBerry Service In Nigeria | READ

South African telecommunications service provider in Nigeria, MTN Nigeria, has released an update on decommissioning its BlackBerry service.

okay Reported that the telecoms firm will on January 27 2017 decommission Blackberry service, but the firm has updated that BlackBerry series 10 devices are exempted.

“MTN is decommissioning all BlackBerry legacy plans (BlackBerry OS bundles).

“If you use a BlackBerry 10 device; please note that you will not be affected because you will be able to use any of our existing Data Bundles,” a .jpg file published on the firm’s website read.

MTN listed the affected BlackBerry OS bundles to include: BB Complete, BB Absolute, BB Quarterly and BES.

Active bundles will be allowed to expire, however, it will not be possible to activate or renew another bundle thereafter.
