Nollywood actress, Modupe Oyekunle, is reported to have died during childbirth in the early hours of Tuesday, April 4, 2017.


 

According to online reports, Modupe died in the delivery room while trying to birth her third child.

The actress who is also called ‘Oyinbo’ due to her light skin, gave birth to a female child before she passed on.

She was a member of Igi Aloye group in Abeokuta which produced the likes of Odunlade Adekola.

The actress played an important role of Sandra in Segun Ogungbe’s breakthrough movie, Ibi Giga, among others.

The deceased is survived by husband, three children and parents.
