The Presidency has released update about the girl who recently gained her freedom from Boko Haram’s den.

According to Aso Rock, the girl is not part of the 276 girls kidnapped en mass from Chibok but is from the area.

“Mariam Mohammed Isa is a 15-year-old JSS1 student kidnapped from Chibok in 2014—but is not one of the 219 girls,” it said.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo had announced the release at Wednesday’s FEC meeting.
