Gov. Seriake Dickson Sacks 8 Local Government Caretaker Chairmen In Bayelsa

Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State has approved the immediate sacking of eight local government caretaker chairmen and the dissolution of the caretaker committees in the state.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, governor Dickson thanked all the chairmen and their members for their selfless services to the state, especially at these of recession.

He wished the chairmen well in all their future endeavours in the state.

Similarly, the governor approved the immediate dissolution of all the statutory commissions in the state, whose tenure of office have virtually elapsed, with the exception of the Local Government Service Commission.

He also thanked them for their services to the state and wished them well in their future endeavours.
