Acting President Yemi Osinbajo met ailing President Muhammadu Buhari for about one hour at Nigeria’s High Commission in London on Tuesday and left without saying a word to reporters, according to Reuters.

A presidential aide, Laolu Akande had also in a tweet described Osinbajo meeting with Buhari in London on Tuesday as “very good.”

Akande, who is the Senior Special Assistant to the Acting President on Media and Publicity, promised to provide more information about the meeting later.

“We will soon share more information about AgP Osinbajo’s London meeting with President Buhari. It was a very good meeting. God bless Nigeria,” Akande tweeted.

The Nigerian President had been staying at the High Commission for much of the past two months he has been away from the country on medical leave.

Reuters reports that Osinbajo arrived at Abuja House, the Nigerian High Commission, or embassy, in London, late on Tuesday. He left an hour later without comment.

“Osinbajo meeting with President Buhari in London today, and returning to Abuja immediately afterwards,” Akande, said in a Twitter message posted earlier on Tuesday. No details were given.
