Court Sentences Police Officer, Two Others To Death Over Aluu Killings

A High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has found and sentenced three persons to death for the murder of four UniPort students killed in the Aluu community.

The presiding judge, Justice Letam Nyordee, sentenced ex-Sergeant Lucky Orji, Ikechukwu Luis Amadi and David Chinasa Ogbonda to death.guilty of the murder of four students who were lynched in Aluu community in 2012.

The condemned are three of the seven people arraigned in connection to the lynching of the four students.guilty of the murder of four students who were lynched in Aluu community in 2012.

The four others were discharged and acquitted after the Judge found the prosecution’s case against them insufficient.
