The kick-off time of the season-opening Community Shield match between Chelsea and Arsenal has been changed.
This was confirmed by the English Football Association.
The game, billed for August 6, would start an hour earlier than originally scheduled.
The rescheduling is to avoid a probable clash with the final of the Women’s European Championship which the England’s Women team might partake in if they win their Thursday semi-final game against the Netherlands.
According to Sky Sports, the final is 5pm local time.
