World Bank Donates N58million to Four LGAs In Bauchi State

The World Bank has provided N58 million to four local government areas in Bauchi state.

The money was given to Bogoro, Tafawa Balewa, Itas-Gadau and Shira local government areas for the construction of primary school blocks, drainages and maternity clinics.

Presenting the cheque to the local governments in Bauchi on Saturday, the general manager, Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA), Abubakar Mohammed, said each of the four local governments will have three committees that would ensure proper monitoring and full implementation of the projects in their areas.

He enjoined the benefiting local governments to be committed and transparent while implementing the project for the overall development of their areas and the state in general.

Sadiq applauded Governor Mohammed Abubakar for his interest in executing laudable projects across the state for the betterment of the common man.

In their separate remarks, the Heads of administration of the benefiting local government areas promised to support Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar in providing more dividends of democracy to the people of the state.

They assured the agency of their commitment to ensuring that the project is executed according to standard and specifications.
