Nigerian Troops Ambushes Boko Haram Terrorists In Borno

Troops of the 151 Battalion, 21 Brigade of the Nigerian Army have ambushed and killed members of the dreaded Boko Haram terror group.

The ambush, which happened on Sunday, took place at Bocost, along Ngurosoye-Bama road, Borno State.

The army disclosed this in a statement by its Director, Army Public Relations, Brig. Gen. Sani Usman.

Usman said the troops neutralized a large number of the Boko Haram terrorists, while others sustained gun shot wounds.

He said, ”The troops recovered the following items from the terrorists: 1 AK 47 rifle with the registration number 1029, 1 AK 47 magazine, 60 rounds of 7.62mm Special, 3 Bicycles.

”Other items recovered included 4 Empty Jerricans, a cutlass and the cash sum of five thousand and six hundred Naira (N5, 600.00k) only.”
