The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed Saturday, February 16, 2019 for the presidential and National Assembly elections.

The electoral body added that the gubernatorial, state assembly elections and the Federal Capital will hold on March 2, 2019.

The Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, disclosed this at a meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) in Abuja on Thursday.

The Presidential and National Assembly elections have been fixed for Saturday 16th February 2019.
