Donald Trump Threatens to Pull US Out Of Iran Nuclear Deal

US President Donald Trump on Friday disclosed his intention to decertify the 2015 Iranian nuclear deal brokered by his predecessor, Barack Obama.

He said the decision is predicated on his belief that the “radical regime” has violated the agreement multiple times.

This is irrespective of the fact that the International Atomic Energy Agency, and other overwatch agencies say that Tehran is complying with the deal.

During an address about the deal he called “one of the worst” agreements in history, Trump warned the United States may yet walk away altogether.

He said, “I am announcing that we cannot and will not make this certification.

“We will not continue down a path whose predictable conclusion is more violence and terror and the very real threat of Iran’s nuclear breakout.

“In the event we are not able to reach a solution working with Congress and our allies, the agreement will be terminated,” he added.

Trump also announced tough sanctions on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stopping just short of designating the group a terrorist organisation.
