Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, says he will train over two hundred children of victims of terror group Boko Haram.

He disclosed this on Friday at the 28th National Conference of the Muslim Sisters Organisation of Nigeria.

The Sultan decried the number of orphans in Internally Displaced Persons Camps in the North East.

“So we are making arrangements to bring at least 200 of them to
Sokoto and a house had already been prepared for them here,” he said.

”The aim of the gesture is to train them to any level of education they so desire, hence, have a bright future, as well a sense of belonging.”

In addition, the monarch called on the organisation to find ways of curbing divorce and drug abuse rate in the north.
