Some suspected Fulani herdsmen have reportedly hacked a top officer of the Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) to death in Oyo State.

The SARS boss, whose name is yet to be confirmed, was reportedly killed by the herdsmen during a raid on a forest along Saki-Ogbooro road in the state.

As reported by Tribune, the murdered officer was of the rank of Assistant Superintendent and the officer in charge of Sarki SARS Unit of Oyo State Police Command.

The incident comes barely 24 hours after some herdsmen were reported to have killed two persons during an attack on Gbajimba town in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.
