A Federal High Court sitting in Kano State has granted bail to Nuriani Adamu, son of former governor of Nasarawa state, Abdullahi Adamu.

Adamu was arraigned alongside one Felix Onyago over alleged N32 million money laundering.

Douglas Gift, counsel to the prosecution, told the court presided over by Justide Daggard that the defendants allegedly conspired to commit the offence in 2014.

Gift said that in the same year, Adamu allegedly transferred N32 million on several occasions to Onyago’s bank account in Kano. He said that the offence violated Section 18(a) and 15, 2 (b) of money laundering prohibition act.
