Fire on Monday gutted the office of the Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, at the State Secretariat, Osogbo.

According to reports, the fire started from an air conditioner inside the governor’s office, but the governor was not around.

A source said the fire, which started around 4pm, was devastating because the security doors leading to the office could not be opened as the fire raged.

The Deputy Governor, Titi Laoye-Tomori, top government functionaries alongside fire servicemen are currently at the scene trying to extinguish the fire.
