DSS Takes Over National Assembly, Entrance Into Complex Blocked

The National Assembly has been taken over by operatives of the Department of State security service, DSS.

The operatives are turning away cars of lawmakers and one of those that have been prevented from gaining entry into the national assembly is Rafiu Ibrahim, a senator representing Kwara south.

Recall that the National Assembly is currently on recess.

The leadership of the two chambers have come under intense pressure to reconvene the federal legislature over certain issues.
