Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State has directed the immediate dissolution of the boards of government agencies, parastatals, and corporations in the state.
The newly sworn-in governor ordered chairmen of the boards of these agencies to hand over to the most senior officer in their respective agencies.
The dissolution, ordered by the governor, does not affect the statutory boards.
The composition of the new boards will be announced at a later date.
