The Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has held an emergency security meeting with heads of security agencies in the state.

The meeting which comes after the violence that broke out in the state capital on Sunday is to review the security situation in the state.

Although the state government has placed a 24 hours curfew to avert any further breakdown of law and order, a combined team of soldiers, police and other security agencies have taken over the streets of Kaduna metropolis to avert any further breakdown of law and order.

The entire metropolis has turned into a ghost town as residents stayed indoors in compliance with the no movement order.
