The Chief Magistrate’s Court in Kano on Friday took the plea of Adeyanju who has been charged with complicity in series of murders since 2000s.

The court said that it lacked jurisdiction to hear murder charges against him.

Mr. Adeyanju had been arrested since Dec. 13.

A Kano State High Court has discharged and acquitted him on similar charges between 2005 and 2009.

Adeyanju moved to Kano after he was arrested and detained for five days in Abuja.
