Reports reaching okay that the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen is again absent to face charges of false assets declaration filed against him at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).

okay recalls that the CCT had adjourned the hearing to Tuesday 22nd of January to enable the registrar, serve the CJN, with charges and summons as counsel to the CJN, Wole Olanipekun had argued in the last sitting that the CJN was not served personally, and services was done through his personal assistant, which is against the provisions of the law.

The CJN is absent from Court but prosecution and defence counsels are present.
