The Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM) has adopted Atiku Abubakar, as its candidate for the February 16 general elections.

The decision to support Atiku was carried unanimously by delegates present in Abuja on Friday.

Dapo Sarunmi, the leader of the movement said in his address after the resolution that President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) stopped the Lagos Metro rail in his time as military head of state.

He advised Nigerians to shun ex-military men who seek political power.
