Multiple explosions rocked the city of Maiduguri, Borno State, just hours to the begin of presidential and National Assembly elections.

According to reports, that sporadic gunfire currently heard around Maiduguri township and parts of Yobe were affected.

The explosions started at 5:50am on Saturday.
