The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is currently in a meeting to review the presidential and National Assembly elections which was held last Saturday.
Okay Nigeria reported that INEC declared Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as winner of the just concluded presidential election.
However, the meeting, which is between the INEC management team and the Resident Electoral Commissioners, RECs, is chaired by the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.
In his opening remarks, the chairman said that during the meeting, the processes and procedures deployed during the last election would be reviewed in a bid to make amends where necessary.
He added that the meeting will help in finalising arrangements for the forthcoming governorship and state assembly elections.
