Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III

The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, have promised to help the police, other security operatives to combat the raising armed bandits attacks in the Northern region of Nigeria.

The sultan made this promise when he received acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, Governor of Sokoto, Aminu Tambuwal, and his deputy, Mannir Dan’iya.

According to a statement made available to Okay Nigeria, the Sultan promised to rally support of all the Traditional Rulers from Northern Nigeria to combat armed banditry and other crimes in the region.

Okay Nigeria can recall that the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, is currently Northern Nigeria to make sure all the armed bandits attacks in the area are no more.
