INEC reschedules governorship elections in Bayelsa, Kogi

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has rescheduled governorship elections in Bayelsa, Kogi state.

Okay Nigeria learned that the elections which was slated to hold on November 2, has been shifted to November 16.

INEC director of voter education and publicity, Festus Okoye, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.

He stated that the change in date was as a result of various appeals for the commission to reschedule the elections.
