Kano Emirate: Court stops probe against Emir Sanusi

A federal high court in Kano has restrained the state Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission from probing Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II over an allegation of financial misappropriation.

Okay.ng reports that Justice O A. Egwuatu, restrained the anti-corruption agency against taking any further action against Mr Sanusi pending determination of the motion on notice dated June 7.

The judge then adjourned the trial till June 28.
