Reps ask Police, DSS to seal off Edo assembly

The House of Representatives has asked the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu and the director general of the State Security Services (SSS), Yusuf Magaji Bichi, to seal off the Edo State House of Assembly.

Okay.ng understands that the lawmakers took the decision after adoption of a report of the House ad-hoc committee set up to investigate the crisis rocking the state Assembly on Wednesday.

In the same vein, they also asked the state governor, Godwin Obaseki, to issue fresh proclamation within one week and publish same in a national newspaper.
