Court orders forfeiture of P&ID assets to Nigerian government

Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the Process and Industrial Development (P&ID) to forfeit all its assets to the federal government of Nigeria.

The court also ordered closure of the Irish company operations.

Okay.ng had reported earlier that the representatives of P&ID pleaded guilty to an 11-count charge filed by the anti-graft agency, EFCC.

The judge, Ekwo ruled on Thursday: “An order is hereby made that the assets of Process and Industrial Development company be forfeited to the Federal Government of Nigeria.

“An order is hereby made for the second convict to be round up and his properties and assets forfeited to the Federal Government of Nigeria.”
