Court orders DSS to release Sowore

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday has ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to release convener of the #RevolutionNow movement, Omoyele Sowore.

Okay.ng had earlier reported that the DSS withdrew its suit filed at the court seeking to Sowore for another 20 days.

Justice Taiwo Taiwo, the judge, delivering the ruling on Tuesday said there was no longer a subsisting order holding Sowore in detention.

He ordered that Omoyele Sowore should be released to Femi Falana, who must produce him whenever the court needs him.
