Tribunal fixes date to deliver final ruling on Kano governorship election

The Kano State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has set aside Wednesday, October 2 to deliver the final ruling on governorship election in the state.

Okay.ng recalls that candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abba Yusuf, filed a petition challenging the victory of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Ganduje asked the tribunal to dismiss the petition on the grounds that he won the election.

However, on Monday, September 30, the tribunal communicated to the parties on the fixed date for the final ruling.
